Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Place 1 tablespoon of the oil and the garlic in a bowl and stir to combine. Brush over the pita breads and place on a baking tray. Bake for 3–5 minutes or until golden and crisp. Set aside. Heat the remaining oil in a non-stick frying pan over high heat. Add the haloumi and oregano and cook for 1–2 minutes each side or until the haloumi is golden. Sprinkle with sumac and serve with the pita breads. Serves 2.
