Sushi mats make great placemats. Buy one for each guest and thread ribbon between the gaps in the mat and attach a knife, fork and napkin. You can roll them up and take them outdoors or on a picnic. Sushi mats are inexpensive and easy to clean – just brush the crumbs out. They are available from Asian food stores and supermarkets.
