8 figs, chopped
⅓ cup (75g) caster (superfine) sugar
2 cups (500ml) gin
2 tablespoons vermouth
ice cubes
2 figs, extra, to servePlace half of the figs, sugar, gin, vermouth and ice cubes in a cocktail shaker or jar with a lid and shake until well combined. Strain into 4 martini glasses and top each with a fig quarter.+ Repeat with remaining ingredients. Serves 8.
