250g beef mince
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 small brown onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
sea salt and cracked black pepper
½ cup (50g) grated mozzarella
8 slices Turkish bread, toasted
¼ cup (60g) sour cream
½ cup store-bought tomato relish
1 x 400g can kidney beans, rinsed and crushed
1 bunch rocket (arugula) leavesPlace the beef, chilli, onion, garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl and mix well to combine. Using slightly damp hands, shape the mixture into 4 patties. Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat and cook the patties for 3 minutes each side or until cooked through. Top with the cheese and place on a baking tray under a preheated grill (broiler) for 3 minutes or until melted and golden. To assemble, spread half of the slices with sour cream and relish, top with the beans, patties and rocket and sandwich with the remaining halves. Makes 4.
