maple hot chocolate with whipped cream

  • 1 litre milk
  • 200g dark chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup 
  • white marshmallows, whipped cream and cocoa, to serve

 

  1. Place the milk, chocolate, vanilla and maple syrup in a small saucepan over medium heat and whisk until the chocolate has melted. Heat for a further 2 minutes or until hot. Divide between 4 x 1-cup-capacity (250ml) cups and top with marshmallows, cream and cocoa to serve. Serves 4.
