the smoothest of green smoothies

  • 1 banana, peeled
  • 1 cup (25g) baby spinach leaves
  • 1 stalk silverbeet (Swiss chard) or kale, trimmed and leaves chopped
  • 2 tablespoons flat-leaf parsley leaves
  • 2 tablespoons mint leaves
  • 2 cups (500ml) coconut water
  • 1 cup ice cubes

 

  1. Place the banana, spinach, silverbeet, parsley, mint, coconut water and ice in a blender and blend until smooth. Divide between glasses to serve. Serves 2
