donna hay digital issue FAQ
We have partnered with the digital platform Issuu and it’s super simple and easy to set up and account and view the edition. Below are some frequently asked questions.
How do I view and access the edition?
You can view your purchase on Issuu via your desktop computer or through the Issuu app on your phone or tablet.
Viewing on desktop
Visit www.issuu.com/store and log into your account. In the top menu bar, hover over ‘read’ and navigate to ‘purchases’ and view your magazine.
Viewing on phone or tablet
Download the Issuu app via the Apple app store or Google Play store. Open the app and log in. In the bottom bar, click your account icon on the right hand side. Navigate to ‘my content’ and view your magazine.
Do I need to create an account to purchase the digital issue?
Yes, simply follow the prompts to sign up for a free Issuu account.
Can I purchase the digital issue in print?
As we’re mindful about the environment and sustainability, there are currently no plans for the digital issue to be printed. Also, by producing a digital issue, I’m excited that I can create and deliver more current content to you more often.
When will the next digital issue be available to purchase and can I purchase a subscription?
We have a lot of exciting plans for the new donna hay digital issue, so be sure to sign up to our newsletter at donnahay.com – and keep following @donna.hay and @donnahaymagazine on social media – to be the first to hear about what’s next. At this stage, subscriptions aren’t available.
Can I gift the digital issue?
At this stage, gifting the digital issue isn’t possible.
I used to have the donna hay app and/or digital version of the magazine, can I access these now?
The donna hay app and digital versions of the previous donna hay magazine (until September 2018) were published by News Life Media, and transactions made were not with Donna Hay but with Magsonline (a subsidiary company of News Life Media).
When the licensing agreement between Donna Hay and News Life Media ceased, the magazine closed and News Life Media stopped supporting the App. As a result, we have no ability to restore purchases.
We (the donna hay brand team) have spent months attempting to find a solution for our loyal fans, but unfortunately we were unsuccessful. It is not the result we wanted, however it is ultimately out of our control.
Now that the donna hay brand is a stand-alone business and no longer part of a large corporation, we will ensure our customers aren’t in this position again.
Are the oven temperatures given in Donna’s recipes for fan-forced ovens?
All recipes tested for the donna hay digital issue, Donna’s books and at donnahay.com.au are done so using fan-forced ovens. If your oven is not fan-forced, you may need to increase the temperature slightly as fan-forced ovens tend to get hotter, faster.
I have a question about the digital issue, who do I contact?
Please email enquiries@donnahay.com.au and the DH Team will be in touch as soon as possible however we are a very small team
